The King's View Room at Battlefields Country Lodge is cozy and inviting, with a toasty fireplace perfect for those chilly winter nights. As a backpacker, I felt right at home in this comfortable room.
The only thing I didn't particularly love was the variety of accommodation options at the lodge. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

I chose this hotel for my annual general meeting and it proved to be an excellent conferencing venue in Dundee. The facilities were well-equipped and the staff was professional, ensuring a smooth and efficient event. It was the perfect corporate get-away and meeting place.
The only service I missed for my work was a dedicated business center where I could access computers and printing facilities.

Amazing stay! The staff was super friendly and well-trained. The room was surrounded by lush green trees, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The restaurant served the best meals, and the breakfast spread was to die for. Definitely going back for more!
There were a few minor hiccups during our stay. The TV had no signal, so we couldn't watch anything.

The value for money at this hotel was fantastic, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was great, with beautiful views of the mountains and dam. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I felt taken care of during my stay.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with fresher and more appetizing options.

It was the perfect spot for us and our crew to chill and have some fun in the sun. The vibe was on point, with families and friends coming together to vibe out and make memories. We felt safe and the staff kept any drama far away from us. Plus, they had a sick play area for the little ones and even let campers use all the dope facilities. It was like a team-building heaven, helping us bond and get stronger for the epic season ahead.
If there's one thing we would've asked for, it's a banging party scene for us young party-goers. Don't get me wrong, the place had a cool atmosphere and all, but we were looking for some wild nights and crazy parties.

Great Gardens: The lodge's beautiful gardens were a tranquil haven for me to take a relaxing stroll. The ostrich feeding was a unique experience, and sitting on Rosies cottage porch allowed me to soak in the fresh air like a contented cat.
Room Allocation: Initially, I was given a tiny rondavel with a peculiar smell that felt as uncomfortable as a pair of shoes two sizes too small. The staff did move me to the room I had actually booked after I complained, but they left the cleanliness issue unresolved, which was rather disappointing.

We stayed at a lovely lodge surrounded by beautiful gardens and historic battle grounds. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location was perfect. the lodge overlooks a watering hole where we spotted zebras and antelopes. the buffet dinner was delicious and the rooms were clean and cozy. the kids had a blast with the various activities available, such as biking and canoeing. it was a fantastic stay with plenty to do and see. cons: Nothing everything was great! 👍.

Mind-blowing place with super accommodating staff! They went above and beyond to make our family reunion unforgettable, offering meals when the restaurant was closed. The scenery was jaw-dropping, with a wide variety of wild animals to see. The spacious desk in the room was perfect for my work needs, and the beds were clean and cozy. Wish there was a bit more coffee, tea, and milk, but I'm sure they would have happily provided more. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, catering to all needs. The location, just 30 minutes from historic sites, made it a perfect base for exploration. Free wi-fi, car park, electric kettle, flat-screen tv, swimming pool, and pets allowed. Simply amazing!
